"He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8)
A recent television special was titled "Heaven: Does it exist and how do we get there?" To me, this question was just like asking the same thing about a geographical location. "Hawaii: Does it exist and how do we get there?" Simple, right? Why is it that everybody knows how to get to paradise on Earth, yet so few know the way to heaven, or if it even exists?
In Micah 6:6-7, we read a series of questions posed as to how God might be approached in order to have sins forgiven. Would it take a thousand rams? Ten thousand rivers of oil? The first-born? The answer given is the same that can be given today:
